REVIEW: Loreal Ombre Red

So I recently decided to change my hair colour as I was really bored of my classic black but didn't want to have such a drastic change so after some long research I opted for a ombre red!

First off, its been over 3.5 years since I last dyed my hair. I put it off as I got sick of retouching my roots and my hair colour (Light Ash Blonde) really didn't suit me. My course mates once said that they were reluctant to approach me as I apparently looked like a "Bad Girl" lol

Now I debated whether to get this professionally done or just do it myself but as you know it isn't cheap and most shops have so much variety, its easy to get tempted to just D.I.Y

So I bought the Loreal Red Ombre for £7.99 at Boots.

Packaging is well presented, soon as I saw this I fell in love with the colour as its different, stylish and seems to work well with dark hair.

This handy brush made it very easy to apply the product to my hair.

Me looking like I just murdered someone

It's not too bad! in natural light you can visibly see the red tones but indoors with no natural light, it's hard to tell. So I would say if you have really dark black hair, might not show up that well.
But for £7.99, this is well worth the price!

Overall Rating: 8/10 :)

Annabelle: Review

For those who don't know me, I love horror flicks. So when the film Annabelle  got released today,
I couldn't wait to watch it. If you have watched The Conjuring, Annabelle acts as a prequel/spin-off.

Trailer

To be frank, I didn't have high expectations that this film would likely scare the bejesus outta me...BOY I WAS WRONG, it was pretty scary! Like you wouldn't expect a fugly looking doll to scare you right? Prepare yourself as this one has some surprises up it's sleeves.

I have to give credits to the sound guys, no doubt that the soundtrack played a huge part for the terrifying chills. It created a really scary atmosphere that just left you so uneasy.

One of the main reasons why I was so eager to watch this film was the guy who produced it, James Wan. He is the genius who directed Saw, Insidious, Insidious: Chapter 2 and The Conjuring.

He really knows how to scare the audience without the gore, (ok accept Saw lol) or visual effects, sticking to old skool horror. So if you like those types of films, definitely worth watching Annabelle.

Downside I didn't quite like the ending, I thought it was a tad predictable? and watching it in a packed cinema ruined it as you always get some people laughing hysterically or screaming like crazy lol.

At the end credits, it states that the real Annabelle doll is contained in a glass box where The Warrens keep it safe.... DUN DUN DUNNNN!

My verdict is 7/10!

So what do you guys think? Have you seen it yet? Let me know what you think :)
